We practice daily giving to and caring for young people so they can give and care for others without fear, judgement or prejudice. We are all more alike than we are different, yet it is our differences that reveal our power. The connection that occurs in mentoring relationships can heal wounds, spark confidence and increase understanding. We all deserve that gift, which is why everyone is welcome at KSYM.
A Place For Everyone
Do you remember in school the the kid picked last for a playground game? Or maybe you were the one who felt left out? Finding your place can have its challenges. With our help that road can be a little less rough. Trial and error, disappointments and failing are important for learning. Mentoring meetings at your school provide a safe place that encourages exploring and a love of learning.

Learning happens in many ways. When we’re young everything is new. If we’re lucky unconditional love and caring attention allow us to build the confidence to try new things. One of the gifts of mentoring is providing a loving space where doing our best is enough. Where learning can bring peace and joy.
